Jarome Iginla, Synergy SE16, netted his 400 NHL career goal as a member of the Calgary Flames in an 8 – 6 loss to the Ligntning from Tampa Bay. Goal number 400 was Iginla’s second of the contest, 26th of the season, and his 5th point of the night (which tied the team record which he also holds). The goal and 834th point also established a NEW Calgary Flames club record for career points by a player. Ok, so it was three records. But it was TWO records he had NOT previously held a piece of.

New Jersey’s Zach Parise, Stealth S17, notched goals #37 and #38 in WINS over the weekend further solidifying his #2 position for goals scored in the 2008 – 2009 NHL season. The 24 year old Minnesota native and Shattuck St. Mary’s Alum was the 17th player chosen in the 2003 Draft, begging the question, ‘what were the 16 teams choosing ahead of the Devils thinking.’ I know what Easton is thinking!
