The 2010 Vancouver games will be Julie's 3rd time playing for the US National Team in the Olympics. Julie has already achieved many success at the professional level including being a two-time Olympian (silver-2002, bronze-2006), three-time World Championships gold medalist (2005, 2008, 2009), and a three-time World Championships silver medalist (2001, 2004, 2007). Chu is the first Asian American woman and first Chinese American woman to play for the U.S. Olympic ice hockey team, and played in the 2002 and 2006 games. She won the Patty Kazmaier Award in 2007 for best female collegiate hockey player. During her time at Harvard, she was an influential player and teammate. While at Harvard, Julie became the All Time Leading Scorer in NCAA History. Julie additionally was the Team Captain at Harvard. She graduated with Honors from Harvard University in 2007 with a concentration in Psychology
