Taylor Hall of the Windsor Spitfires becomes the first player in MasterCard Memorial Cup history to win the MVP award twice, having captured the Stafford Smythe Trophy at the 2009 event in Rimouski, QC. Hall also led the tournament in scoring with nine points in four games scoring a tournament-high five goals while adding four assists. The 19-year-old from Kingston, ON, scored a goal and two assists in the Championship Final to secure the award. He is eligible for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft where he is expected to be selected with one of the top two picks in the draft.
